Welcome to Claire’s Column!
I’m Claire, and I would like to kick things off with introducing myself and a quick insight of what you can expect from my future columns.
You may recognise me from my days in reception, but I am now a qualified Accountant. I have been working with James Becker & Co for close to 3 years and have loved every minute of it. Unbeknown to most, I grew up beyond the black stump in Blackall, Queensland, so naturally I have a deep love and understanding of rural life. My work at James Becker & Co gives me a link back to my roots in outback Queensland while allowing me to pursue my passion in accounting and business.
‘Claire’s Column’ is my attempt to make accounting and taxation a little more interesting or simpler to understand! Communicating to the clients at James Becker & Co the latest tax updates and all things business. With each newsletter I hope to make the plain boring tax information a little more fun or at the very least relative to your business, covering topics from what to claim as a business expense to legislative changes.
